Nancy B. Irwin, PsyD - A former stand-up comic, Nancy Irwin, PsyD, experienced an epiphany when she began volunteering for a shelter for sexually abused children. It not only woke up the healer in her, but also allowed her to embark on her own path of healing from adolescent sexual abuse at the hands of a clergyman. This prompted her to pursue a doctorate in psychology and to specialize in the prevention and healing of child sexual abuse. It is Dr. Irwin's belief that “The best way to help the abused is to help the abusers.
