TAALK was founded in 2007 as a US-based, federally approved 501c3 non-profit organization with a core belief that child sexual abuse is predictable and preventable when we surround children with knowledgeable and outspoken adults, and we all play a part in the solution. TAALK is an acronym for Talk About Abuse to Liberate Kids.

For thirteen years, TAALK provided awareness education, in-person and online prevention training, support groups for survivors and parents of survivors, and training for professionals and advocates.

On August 31, 2021 TAALK's public entity operations were discontinued and the 501c3 non-profit was dissolved. However, the founder's heart for children and the brokenhearted has not ceased, so Diane Cranley has legally taken over TAALK's name, trademarks, branding, website, and operations with the intent to continue the original mission and incorporate other aspects of her work that existed outside of the non-profit including prevention training for youth-serving organizations and spiritual healing.

Today, TAALK continues to provide awareness education, prevention training, support groups, spiritual healing, and advocacy training to a variety of community members including parents, college students, educators, faith organizations, survivors, parents of survivors, partners of survivors, and a variety of professions including therapists, law enforcement, child welfare agencies, child advocacy centers, and advocates.

We hope that you will walk wtih us in this new season as we work to provide more valuable information and support the community.
