Forum objectives include:
- Discuss mental health professionals role in resolving the child sexual abuse epidemic
- Identify mental health best practices in child sexual abuse services
- Document existing services available in Orange County
- Determine the gap as compared to best practices
- Identify training and mentoring programs needed to close the gap
TAALK is hosting similar forums with other community segments in an effort to raise awareness and gain active participation in the resolution of this epidemic. The forums will be video taped and included as a segment on The TAALK Show, our weekly internet TV show dedicated to the topic of child sexual abuse internationally. By bringing community leaders together to highlight best practices and address the current status within their community, the conversations related to one local community can provide context, ideas, and solutions, to benefit communities around the world.
Register by completing the form below. If you have questions, contact Diane Cranley at 949-495-5406 or dcranley@taalk.org.
